Construction of foundation piles using a Continuous Flight Auger (CFA) method to support large diameter Digestor Tanks and a Grit Removal structure.
The foundation piles consisted of several rings of CFA piles for each structure in complex ground conditions consisting or varying layers of silt, sands and clays coupled with a high groundwater table.
The use of our specialist CFA equipment (130T piling rig) allowed for these piles to be constructed quickly and efficiently to ensure program could be maintained for our client.
