Wagstaff Piling has a successful history of innovation in the piling industry and regularly participates in international conferences. Throughout the successful completion of more than 6,000 projects, our innovative piling methods have seen the application of new techniques and processes that have led to more cost-effective, higher quality, and safer outcomes for foundation engineering the projects at hand. These projects have also included environmental initiatives.
Recent initiatives include:
- A collaboration with the University of Melbourne on the design and installation of a geothermal precast pile;
- The construction and testing of a precast “environmentally friendly concrete” pile;
- The development of a novel methodology for the evaporative dewatering of tailings dam in conjunction with the University of Queensland;
- The development of a sustainable, novel in-situ soil / recycled slag cement ground improvement reinforced by geofabric materials.
